There are certain things that just scream New York for New York apartment-ites: the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, Broadway, and, of course, Central Park. No park as become quite as famous as New York’s Central Park, with its expansive green lawns, it calm, cool lakes, and its gorgeous city views, it’s been the location of many famous photographs, films and television programs over the years, and it
one of the most features some of the most iconic images of New York City ever seen. Besides being a national treasure, however, it’s also a place that’s great to go to have a great time. With its numerous gardens, lakes, lawns and other spots of interest, there’s never an end to the things to explore at the park, and with so many activities constantly going on in the park, there’s also no end to the fun to be had. If you’re a New York apartment resident, and have never gone to the park, you can’t really call yourself a New Yorker.

There are numerous attractions through the park to take in, from the more low-key and natural to the vibrant and colorful. Be sure to check out beautiful old Belvedere Castle, which features one of the most beautiful scenic overlooks in the park, overlooking the great lawn, the Delcourte Theater, and the turtle ponds. Another spot you have to check out is Betheseda Terrace, a beautiful area in the center of the park featuring the famed sculpture and fountain, Angel of the Waters, and just beyond is the mall, which is one of the best places to have a pleasant stroll through the natural beauty of the park. If you’re feeling a bit peckish after all your wandering, take a short trip over to Tavern on the Green, where some of the very best food is New York is served up hot and delicious, and where some of the top names in New York come to dine. There’s something for just about everybody in Central Park, but to discover it all, you’ll just have to come and take a look around for yourself.

New York just wouldn’t be New York without Central Park, a pleasant, green oasis within an desert of steel and frenzy. For those looking to spend a pleasant day outside of their New York apartment, there is no place better to spend your afternoon than Central Park, one of the most famous spots in all of New York to take it easy and enjoy the beauty of the world around us.
